Who is responsible

This website

The site sets no cookies, shows no advertising and stores nothing in your browser. To see which pages are read, each page view sends a short note to our own database: the page, the website that sent you here, whether you use a phone or a computer and, when you followed a link in one of our emails, a short tag with the name of your company.

We do not store IP addresses. To tell page views by the same visitor apart within one day, we keep a one-way coded value of the connection that changes every day. These records are deleted after 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether our site and our emails are useful to the companies we write to.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, and our database provider, Supabase (servers in the EU), process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure.

When you send a request or email us

We use your name, email address, company details and what you send us to answer your question, prepare a feasibility review or quote, and run the business relationship that follows. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or the steps needed before a contract. Requests sent through the form are kept with our business correspondence. A file you attach goes straight to our mailbox and is not kept on the website's servers.

Before we quote, we check the companies and people involved in a project against sanctions lists, because export-control and sanctions law requires it. We keep those records for as long as the law requires.

Business contact data

We may contact professionals at companies we think could use our services, using business contact details. Every message offers a simple way to opt out, and we respect it.

Who we share data with

• Our manufacturing partner in Taiwan, when a project needs their review, under NDA.
• Service providers we use to run email, hosting and records (Zoho Mail, Vercel and Supabase), under data processing terms.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Sharing with our partner in Taiwan is a transfer outside the EU. We only share what a project needs, under confidentiality terms.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask us to restrict it. Email arwin@tdm-technologies.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
